Asif Talash son of Mohamad Reza was born in 1991 in Nahor District in Ghazni province. As a result of ravaging war and insecurity, he in his childhood along with his parents left Nahor District for Quetta Pakistan. In 1998 he took admission in Hazrat-e- Rasul Akram Primary and Secondary school and studied up to class 6. He studied class 7 in Nijat High school and returned in Kabul, Afghanistan. He studied class 7 to class 10 in Habibia High school and completed his high school studies in Marifat High school. During this period, in addition to school going, he attended language, computer and religious issues courses.
Being particularly interested in film making and photography, he became familiar with members of 3rd Eye Photojournalism Center. Later, from this center he was introduced to Nai agency and Internews office in Young Word Project. Attending several workshops conducted by Nai and Internews Agencies, he could win Festival of Young Word competed by 1300 participants from 16 provinces in Afghanistan.
Later, Talash was recruited in Tolo TV as a cameraman. He attended training programs on professional photography conducted in 3rd Eye Photojournalism Center and gained membership of this center subsequent to capacity enhancing. Now, Asif Talash is one of active and talented members in 3rd Eye Photojournalism Center. Within a short period of his artistic activities, he could have demonstrated and recorded some eye-catching works from beautiful world of photography.
